Alrighty, time to chat a bit about Glyphs.
If you have made it this far, I am going t assume that you know you get nine total, and that they open up in batches of 1 prime, 1 major, and 1 minor at levels 25, 50 and 75.
Well, I guess if you didn’t know you do now.
I know you already did though, I’m just typing to exercise my finger muscles.
Anyhow, down to business.
We are going to want a total of 10 Glyphs, get them however you feel the need. I make my own, you may need to hit up a friend or the auction house.
I’ll go over the shopping list first, then I’ll explain the shuffling I do while leveling.
Prime Glyphs:
Major Glyphs:
Minor Glyphs:
Now, you notice I have one extra right? Thats because I shuffle things around a bit as I’m leveling. No sense glyphing for Riptide at 50 when we don’t get the spell till a minimum of 69 for instance.
One thing to keep in mind as you do this, is that swapping glyphs gets much more expensive as soon as you hit level 81. Since I do a bit of juggling as I level I want to make sure I hit up the Inscription Supplies vendor for a couple Vanishing Powder. If you wait until 81 or later, you’ll need Dust of Disappearance which is far more expensive.
Well, here is what I have, and the level I make changes. Your mileage may vary, but this has worked well for me.
Level 25:
- Earth Shield
- Healing Wave
- Renewed Life
Level 50:
- Earth Shield
- Water Shield
- Healing Wave
- Healing Stream Totem
- Renewed Life
- Water Breathing
Level 54:
- Earth Shield
- Earthliving Weapon
- Healing Wave
- Healing Stream Totem
- Renewed Life
- Water Breathing
Level 69:
- Earth Shield
- Riptide
- Healing Wave
- Healing Stream Totem
- Renewed Life
- Water Breathing
Level 75:
- Earth Shield
- Riptide
- Earthliving Weapon
- Healing Wave
- Healing Stream Totem
- Totemic Recall
- Renewed Life
- Water Breathing
- Water Walking
